Gutter Leaf Guard Comparison

There are many types of gutter leaf guards to choose from when evaluating various gutter protection systems. There are gutter foams, gutter screens or filters, micro-mesh filters and solid gutter covers.  The big difference between Gutter Helmet and most other products on the market is that unlike screens or filters, Gutter Helmet does not have a flat top with openings in it that can collect pine needles and other fine tree debris. Gutter foam can also be a problem. Foam gutter inserts allow leaves and fine particles to sit on top of the gutters, and whatever does not blow off, eventually deteriorates over time, allowing the composted tree debris that is left to lodge in and around the foam leading to a clogged gutter system.

Why Solid Gutter Guards are the Best Option

Gutter Helmet's approach is different and unique. The curved, solid gutter guards repels leaves as they are drawn over and around the cover - while the tiny 1/8” vertical opening uses gravity to draw water in, and then move it safely away from your home and landscape to prevent water damage.  In fact, Gutter Helmet is so effectively at capturing water, it has been tested and proven to take in up to 22 inches of rain water per hour. Simply put, Gutter Helmet is the best gutter guard system available today, not to mention the first and only multi-patented solid gutter cover.
